On the afternoon of 31 July 2026, the XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Centre (XJTLU-IPISC), upon the invitation of GN (Beijing) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., delivered an online training session titled Intellectual Property Empowerment in Materials R&D for the company’s R&D personnel.
On July 25, the second session of the "Lakeside Saturday" Intellectual Property Lecture Series was successfully held. The event was hosted by the Suzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation (Intellectual Property Office), organized by the China Intellectual Property Training Center (Yangtze River Delta) Practice Base, and co-organized by Suzhou Industrial Park Library and the Intellectual Property Information Service Center of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. More than 60 participants attended the training, including core decision-makers from enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region, representatives from relevant municipal departments, and officials from the Municipal Administration.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) today announced the 11 winners of the WIPO Global Award 2026, celebrating companies that demonstrated excellence in using intellectual property (IP) to bring to market products including drugs to regenerate lung tissue, semiconductors that cut energy loss, AI-guided crop spraying devices and helmet sensors promoting athletes’ brain health.
